About the Role

We're seeking a Backend-Leaning Full Stack Engineer to join our 6-member product engineering team in Bangalore. You'll be responsible for building data fetch pipelines, robust APIs, and backend systems that power our end-to-end dashboard and reporting features. This isn't just about internal tooling — you'll be building user-facing product features that directly impact enterprise clients.

What You'll Do

• Build Data Infrastructure: Design and develop data fetch pipelines that process marketing data from multiple attribution sources
• API Development: Create REST/SOAP/gRPC APIs that serve complex reporting and analytics needs
• Database Design: Design relational schemas and optimize RDBMS performance for large-scale data operations
• Product Feature Development: Build backend services for user-facing dashboard features, not just internal tools
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Brainstorm with PMs and designers to shape features from conception to deployment
• Post-deployment Support: Write robust, testable code and take ownership through production monitoring
• Seek Clarity: Ask the right questions before building to avoid misaligned features that don't serve customer needs

Must-Have Technical Skills

• 3-5 years of backend development experience with solid JavaScript fundamentals
• REST/SOAP/gRPC API design and development experience
• Backend frameworks experience (Ruby on Rails strongly preferred)
• Relational schema design with RDBMS experience (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Product thinking and frontend exposure for full-stack collaboration
• Strong problem-solving abilities and task breakdown skills
• Experience building production-grade product features (not just tooling)

Nice-to-Have

• Data pipelines or reporting APIs experience
• Dashboarding tools or internal analytics platforms background
• Experience at product-based companies
• Monorepo backend maintenance experience
• Exposure to data observability tools

Requirements
