Stance is AI for Technology Audit. The biggest enterprises in the world are all throwing 1000's of people at the problem of compliance. The process is monotonous, repetitive and often ineffective at actually addressing the risks. We believe this is a bad use of human time.
Founded by Vishal Parpia (ex-CloudCover) & Brendon Byrne (ex-JP Morgan, ex-Standard Chartered), Stance uses LLMs to make short work of GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) tasks. To build agents that can automatically perform these tasks, we capture regulatory and organizational context through a process we call Starmapping. Starmaps are vectors that uniquely identify objectives and actions through taxonomies, allowing AI to understand the complex obligations an organization has and accurately meet them.
Our goal is to agentify the technology audit function completely, saving companies billions of dollars they spend on answering and preparing for audits. We're not there yet, but that's where you come in.
